Cinian Studios is a Canadian based art and graphic design company founded by Ian Barnes. After many years creating digital art in many forms and styles, Ian created Cinian Studios in 2026 and currently serves as President & CEO.Cinian Studios create PLS and Code Vector digital art, as well as owns the trademarks and copyrights to many global animated illustrated characters and brands, such as Mimo Bunny, Funky Monkey, Angry Sheep, and many more.

Cinian Studios utilizes a technique which Ian named Photographic Luminance Stratification (PLS), which begins with an original photograph and transforms it through extensive digital editing.By separating the image's tones into layered, translucent color planes, the natural subject is reimagined with glowing contours and soft gradients.The result is a luminous, multidimensional composite that bridges traditional photography with the ethereal depth of digital artistry.
Code Vector
Cinian Studios designers write computer code that generates clean shapes and patterns. They then run the code through digital software to transform the sharp lines into textured, retro pixel art.It is a unique blend of programming and design, where code dictates exactly where every single pixel lands on the screen. This type of art appeals to many hip, cool-vibe loving clients.
